Invitations Par Patsy,
the art of inviting...
Belgium’s loss, Montreal’s Gain! An artist extraordinaire,
Belgium-born
Patsy Van Roost has lived and created
in Montreal for the past 10 years. Her
specialty: doing the irresistible with exquisite papers imported
from around the world. 1996 marked her entrée at le
Salon de la Mariée, Montreal’s biggest Bridal Show.
She took the industry by storm, acquiring most contracts for wedding
invitations.
You step into her studio… a fabulous paper domain; the artist
is surrounded by hundreds of drawers; you enter a world of pure
imagination coupled with uniqueness and practicality. Inheriting
the originality and renowned imagination of Belgian artists and
designers, Patsy creates with the most precious papers, giving them
a communicative look, a perfect complement to the message. Among
her well-known clients, it’s not surprising to find Céline
Dion (christmas cards and René-Charles’s baptism
booklet), Bombardier, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts,
Bell Canada, Pratt & Whitney Canada, the Sheraton,
the National Bank of Canada, Coca Cola, and many
others...
Printed, cut, wrinkled, ironed, assembled, superimposed, collaged,
stitched, embossed, folded and tied... the handmade papers chosen
by Patsy are available in hundreds of exceptional colors, fabulous
textures and varying degrees of transparency. The original nature
of each sheet opens the door to an infinite array of possibilities...
Your celebration begins when a Par Patsy invitation arrives!
